Physics Exercises : Circle Motion

1. An electric drill rotates at 1200 rpm. If its motion is uniform circular motion, determine : a. angular velocity b. angular displacement after 4 s
2. An objects moves in a uniform circular motion with the speed 0f 36 km/h. If the radius of the path is 2 m, determine : a. period b. frequency c. angular velocity
3. A Peace of money is at edge of grindstone and moves in circular with constant angular velocity of 3600 rpm. Determine : a. the angular velocity b. the centripetal of acceleration if the radius of the circle is 20 cm.
4. Two wheels A and B are touching each other. If the angular velocity of wheel B is 20 rad/s and radius of wheel A is 2/3 radius wheel B, determine the angular velocity of wheel B.

11. Two wheels A and B are touching each other. If the angular velocity of wheel B is 8 rad/s and radius of wheel A is equal to ½ of radius of wheel B, please determine the angular velocity of wheel A in rad/s.
12. Four wheels A, B, C and D. Wheel A and D are touching each other. Wheel A, wheel B, and wheel C are centre. If the angular velocity of wheel B is 8 rad/s and radius of them RA = 2 RB, RC = 3 RB, RD = 2 RC please determine the linear velocity of wheel A, B, C, and D in m/s.
13. The centripetal acceleration of a particle is 6 m/s2. Determine :
a. the radius of particle path if the particle from rest has a constant angular acceleration of 4 rad/s2 in 2 second.

14. An electric fan is switched off when it rotates with angular velocity of 20 rad/s. If the fan stops after 2 minutes, calculate :

15. A machine requires 6 seconds to change the angular velocity from 600 rpm to 1200 rpm. Determine
